Comic Club

Comics Club run workshops that explore visual narrative. It was created as a forum for testing ideas and exploring new ways of working.

Some of the previous workshops include: examining panel structure through local architecture with a group of secondary school pupils in Slovenia, using pre existing comic panels to create new stories at the work in progress show at the RCA, developing a curriculum to help primary children understand the visual aspects of storytelling and experimenting with methods of storyline generation with illustration students at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee to name but a few.

We have many other plans for workshops, some of these include using the digestive system, non-linear mapping, creating comics whilst having a dinner party, and exploring time frames.
